| 18-24 November 2021 | World Antimicrobial Awareness Week Twitter Event: The event aims to educate the public about historic/traditional antibiotics (such as garlic, ginger, turmeric etc), showing how they are not as effective as today's antibiotics, and that current antibiotics should be protected and preserved. There will also be a small competition element where the public can answer a few questions and guess which of the traditional remedies would be the most effective and could win microbiology themed prizes if they are right. |
